- maximize river miles impacted.
- present realistic methods, timeline, and itemized budget.
- indicate a cost-share of >25%.
- partner with other groups to maximize promotion of the program.
- demonstrate understanding of eligible and ineligible costs

Local Plan Requirements
Any canoe or kayak livery registered with the ODNR Parks and Watercraft and in good standing with the Ohio Secretary of State.
Grant recipients who receive funds will need to register in Ohio Pays: https://ohiopays.ohio.gov/getting-started

Eligible Costs
Types of eligible expenditures include:
- Cleanup tools (grabbers, additional bags, shovels, prybars, gloves, etc.).
- Dumpsters and associated fees.
- Special/large waste disposal.
- Events advertising and promotion.
