APPLICATION SUPPORT FOR WATER INFRASTRUCTURE FUNDING
State Revolving Fund and Bipartisan Infrastructure Law funding can help communities address critical infrastructure needs. As a partner on the Southwest Environmental Finance Center’s Water, Wastewater, and Stormwater Assistance Program, WaterNow helps communities in EPA Region 6 access this vital funding.
The Water, Wastewater, and Stormwater Assistance Program supports utilities and Tribes in EPA Region 6 — New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana — applying for federal infrastructure loans and grants. The program provides:
• Utility system needs evaluations
• Project development
• Capacity building
• Rates and revenue analysis
• Funding option identification
We also develop customized resources to support Region 6 communities. For example, WaterNow worked with the Pontchartrain Basin Working Group to develop the Pontchartrain Basin Water Infrastructure Resource Hub, a centralized platform that identifies opportunities for loans, grants, and technical assistance for drinking water, wastewater, and stormwater projects most relevant to Southeastern Louisiana.
