Governor Brown signed AB 1668/SB 606 in May of 2018 to put California on the path to greater water use efficiency. These bills create a new structure for water suppliers to develop water efficiency strategies tailored to their circumstances and needs by relying on the expertise and authority of local decision makers.

Join us on Friday, October 26th from 11:30am-2pm at Metropolitan Water District of Southern California for a workshop on this new legislation. As urban water providers begin to develop these local efficiency strategies, WaterNow Alliance is breaking down what the Water Efficiency Legislation does and doesn’t do and how it evolved over the course of the legislative process. This free 2.5 hour workshop will walk through the ways water providers might meet the new standards, and highlight the key legislative takeaways for water suppliers across California.

Lunch will be provided.
