Ann English, PLA, ASLA, LEED® AP, CBLP 1 & D+I is the Manager for the RainScapes Program of the Montgomery County, MD Department of Environmental ProtectionShe is has been committed to clean water action her entire career. . In 2009, she developed the RainScapes Professionals training program for green infrastructure in response to finding that landscape professionals were not aware that they had a role in management of stormwater using green infrastructure techniques. She served on the technical review committees for SITES, the Chesapeake Bay Landscape Professional (CBLP) and the National Green Infrastructure Certified Professional (NGICP), and provides content delivery for both CBLP and NGICP programs. Her career focus has been on sustainable design with plants and their environments and monitoring performance and maintenance of living systems. She has degrees in American History, Regional Plannning and Landscape Architecture.
