Chelsea Boozer

In her role as government affairs manager, Chelsea Boozer works with government, community, and wholesale partners and stakeholders on policy, economic development, and regionalism efforts. Prior to joining CAW, she had eight years of experience as a nationally recognized journalist reporting on government affairs in Memphis, Washington, D.C., and Little Rock. Her initial role at CAW involved community outreach, communication, and stakeholder engagement in the Communications Division. Chelsea serves on American Water Works Association's Young Professionals Committee and is the 2021-2022 YP Chair of the Arkansas Water Conference. Arkansas Business named her to its 2020 list of 20 in Their 20s. She is active in the community and serves on the regional chamber's Create Little Rock board. Chelsea is currently an Executive Master of Public Administration candidate at Syracuse University, holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Memphis, and a reporting certificate from the Johannes Gutenberg Universitat in Mainz, Germany. Chelsea has been published in Opflow and Journal AWWA, and regularly speaks at national and regional water industry conferences about public engagement, connecting with customers, and serving communities.
