Ed was raised in Windsor, Connecticut. During his formative years, he was enamored by multiple paterfamiliases who served in the armed forces. Prior to his senior year in high school, he delayed enlisted into the United States Air Force. Ed proudly served for 20 years and retired as the Chief of Operations and Personnel.

While in the air force he met and married his wife. Together they share five sons. Upon Ed’s retirement they moved to Tucson, Arizona, his wife’s hometown. Since Ed’s retirement he gained a BS in Business Administration from the University of Arizona, actively participated on multiple community, school district, and county committees and action boards.

He is currently the Chief of Security at the City of Tucson - Tucson Water Utility.
