Mr. Sorg started his 3rd 4 year term November 2017. He has lived in Las Cruces for 18 years, coming from Montana where he was a rancher and producer of cattle, wheat and alfalfa seed. He has a Master of Science degree from U. of North Dakota, Grand Forks. He was born and raised in Hastings Minnesota and received a Bachelors degree from Winona State University. He spent 3 years, 70-73, in the Peace Corps, Ghana, as a teacher of science.
