I bring over 20 years of experience in leadership positions and have a strong background in environmental studies with a focus on water quality, climate change, organic agriculture and sustainability metrics and measures. I earned my PhD (2017) in environmental science from Ohio State and have over 10 years of teaching experience, ranging from college to elementary students. Currently I hold a dual role as both the Agriculture and Land Resources Director and the Soil and Water Conservation Director for Buncombe County, NC.
