John Scott was elected to the Ephraim city council in 2011. He has served at Mayor Pro-Tem, the planning and zoning committee, youth city council advisor, airport board, cemetery board, ambulance board, and the hiring committee for the city manager and the city police chief. John has resided in Ephraim City for the past 18 years and works at an educational institute adjacent to Snow College. John is married to Valene and they are the parents of 6 children and the grand-parents of 10 grand-children.
