Nick Teague

I currently serve as the Water Resources Program Manager for the City of San Luis Obispo, where I managed the water conservation, recycled water, and groundwater programs. Previously, I worked as the Technical Coordinator for the Oregon Water Resources Department, Water Resources Development Program. As the Technical Coordinator with OWRD I supported the State’s Place-Based Water Resources Planning Program and several Water Resource Development grant programs. Prior to my time with the State of Oregon, I spent 13 years working as a groundwater hydrologist for the U.S. Geological Survey, California Water Science Center in San Diego. As a groundwater hydrologist with the USGS I worked on projects in support of the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act and groundwater contamination studies. I have an M.S. in Geological Sciences from San Diego State University and a B.S. in Marine Science from Coastal Carolina University. I enjoy utilizing my diverse education, the groundwater expertise I gained with the USGS, and the regulatory and project development skills I learned from OWRD to assist the City in continuing the amazing work that is being done to ensure a safe and reliable water supply to the community.
