Patrick J. Martin

Patrick J. Martin has worked as the Water Use Efficiency Manager for Miami Dade Water & Sewer Department since 2015. Miami Dade Water & Sewer Department is the largest utility in the southeastern US providing high quality drinking water and wastewater disposal services to more than 2.6 million residents. Patrick is tasked with implementing the county's Water Use Efficiency Plan, which is expected to save over 19 million gallons of water per day by 2026. Before moving to Miami, Patrick was employed by South Florida Water Management District for seventeen years working in diverse areas such as water quality monitoring and alternative water supply. He has a Master's Degree in Environmental Resources Management from the University of South Carolina, is a LEED Green Associate and is a Certified Public Accountant.
