Paula Szymanski is an Education Outreach Coordinator for the City of Frisco, where she focuses on developing and providing the public with purposeful education on responsible water use and conservation methods relevant to North Texas. She is an active participant in local, regional, state, and national workgroups and subcommittees, such as WENNT, TAWWA, AWE, and WCAC. In addition to her role with the City of Frisco, Paula was recently appointed to begin serving her volunteer six-year term as a public member on the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality's Irrigation Advisory Council. Paula’s expertise also includes two decades of experience in secondary science education, instructional coaching, and mentoring alternative certification teachers in Texas. She is currently a Ph.D. candidate at Texas Tech University in Curriculum and Instruction.
