Becky Anderson
Becky brings a background of water equity research, spatial analysis, and stakeholder engagement to her role as Program Manager. Prior to joining WaterNow Alliance, she managed a national survey on visitors’ perceptions of land and wildlife conservation in partnership with the US Fish and Wildlife Service. Her professional background also includes working with the Babbitt Center for Land and Water Policy on researching agricultural producers’ perspectives on water and land in the Colorado River Basin, reviewing California groundwater policy with The Nature Conservancy, and working as a groundwater consultant in Oregon. Becky earned a BS in Earth Sciences from Ohio State University and a MS in Geography from Portland State University. At WaterNow, Becky focuses on providing technical assistance and support to communities in the Colorado River Basin and northeastern US to advance local water resiliency and sustainability.
