Overview & Objectives: Rural, Small and Tribal (RST) water systems face unique challenges in managing wastewater and stormwater. This webinar will highlight resources communities are using to address these challenges, from technical assistance supporting system need evaluation, project development, and capacity-building, to assistance accessing funding and financing to pay for system improvements. The webinar will provide an overview of currently available programs, share stories from participating communities and utilities, and provide insight on the process of from an applicant’s perspective.
This webinar has four objectives:
- Demonstrate the types, forms, and availability of technical assistance for RST communities;
- Clarify the State Revolving Fund application process and explain how RST systems can qualify for additional support;
- Provide insight on the technical assistance process from an applicant’s perspective; and
- Share community perspectives on obtaining State Revolving Fund loan funds.
